Things to do near Mission Embudo

Dixon has a Studio Tour the first weekend of November each year, when all the local artists open their studios to friends and strangers alike. Dixon boasts a flourishing artistic community, many of whom display their work at Metier Weaving, a gallery right across the street from Mission Embudo.
There are unique shops and restaurants nearby in both Taos and Santa Fe as well as museums and galleries featuring modern, Native American and Hispanic folk art. The local pueblos hold feast days and festivals throughout the year that are always worth visiting.
